2025 Chevrolet Silverado for sale in Carlsbad, CA

Chevrolet has added to the ranks of electric trucks with the latest 2026 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss EV. The popular off-road Trail Boss trim was only available on Silverado and Colorado, but now the newly available lifted off-road trim offers the capability of the Trail Boss trim combined with the benefits of an electric truck. If you live near Vista, Claremont, or San Marcos, you can find the new 2026 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss EV at Premier of Carlsbad.

Silverado’s Trail Boss trim has been one of the most popular trims since its inception back in 2019. Engineering an EV truck that incorporates this trim level was the next logical step in Silverado and EV trims. The choice adds to our strong truck pedigree, our off-road capability, and our high electric range.

Improved Capability

Like other Trail Boss models, the Silverado EV Trail Boss delivers similar capabilities. It is an impressive truck that will meet the needs of our Trail Boss truck enthusiasts who crave off-road adventures. Some of the features include a 24% higher ground clearance with a two-inch lift over the base Silverado EV and a coil suspension uniquely tuned with a hydraulic rebound system. A trim-exclusive Terrain mode is available at low speeds offering added control when negotiating areas with tough, uneven terrain. The Terrain mode unlocks sharper 4-Wheel Steer, giving drivers better ability to control torque and traction at lower speeds. This paired with other drive modes like the Off-Road and Sidewinder modes prepare the Silverado EV Trail Boss for many new adventures.

Sidewinder mode was first introduced on RST trim vehicles. This function allows all four wheels to turn in the same direction to propel the truck diagonally at low speeds. This mode may be selected on the infotainment screen; it’s a great way to help drivers navigate difficult terrain or tight spaces.

Silverado EV Trail Boss with an extended battery pack offers a max towing ability of up to 12,500 lbs., and a payload ability of up to 2,100 lbs. This configuration grants up to 725 hp and 775 lb.-ft. of torque using the Max Range battery pack.

Exterior Design Features

Bold design and styling project “Off-Road Truck” with an aggressive stance and several trim-exclusive design features, beginning with a high-angle approach front facia, rugged 35-inch all-terrain tires with unique 18-inch wheels, exterior badging, unique interior, and red front tow hooks. There are also nine exterior colors to choose from as you build your vehicle design, which includes three new options: White Sands, Polar White Tricoat, and Magnus Gray Matte Metallic.

Driver Assistance

Several driver-assistive features are also available on the Silverado Trail-Boss EV such as Super Cruise enhancements integrated with Google Maps. Newly added hands-on functionality keeps you centered in your lane and adapts to the speed of the driver ahead and maintains a safe distance all while your hands remain on the steering wheel. Adaptive cruise control has also been upgraded so the driver can choose to automatically adjust speed to match posted speed limits.
