Sadly, many of our neighbors in the San Diego community face food insecurities daily. They do not have enough food to feed their families or cannot afford the nutritious foods a growing family requires. To help in the effort to eliminate this hardship, Premier Chevrolet of Carlsbad supports five food banks in the area. This service provides food for 5,000 to 6,000 community members each day.
And thanks to your continued support of our dealership, we are now partnering with Pastor Moon and his church to extend the reach of our community service. His facility was able to provide meals to those in need once each week. But now, with our combined effort, the church will offer food to San Diego and Escondido communities five times a week. We hope this program is life-altering for those in the area searching for a way to get food for their families.
Our Global Reach
In addition to feeding thousands of community members right here at home, we are sharing our resources with those in other countries who need our help. We have constructed nine homes in other countries to provide housing and shelter for orphaned children. Our goal is to give them a stable foundation to grow into adults contributing to their local communities. In addition, we are very excited to be building an additional home in Ukraine that will serve as a recovery center for women and children who have become victims of the war.
