I had a very disappointing experience with this service center. My vehicle has been in their shop for 4+ days, and I have received little to no communication regarding its status. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I was not provided with clear updates, timelines, or explanations for the delay. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when a customer depends on their vehicle for daily life. The lack of transparency and responsiveness shows a serious issue with customer care. I would strongly recommend improving communication and setting proper expectations for customers. At this point, I cannot recommend this service center. I hope this review encourages management to take this issue seriously and improve their processes.

These dealers will sell you a car without brakes if they could: I purchased a vehicle from Premier Chevrolet of Carlsbad that was represented as "safety inspected." Within minutes of driving it, multiple safety-critical systems failed, including the airbags and seatbelt systems. I immediately contacted the dealership. Initially, I was told to simply drive the car back. After repeatedly explaining that the airbags and seatbelt systems were not functioning, the response changed--but not in a way that solved the problem. Instead, I was told I had two options: "You can either choose to drive it up here or you can tow it... beyond that there is nothing more I can do." At the same time, they acknowledged the seriousness of the issue: "Because it is a seatbelt and airbag (safety) concern, service does not recommend that you drive it." So to be clear: they knew the vehicle was unsafe to drive, but still suggested I could drive it back anyway. At no point did they offer a refund or take responsibility for selling a vehicle with critical safety defects. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on me to deal with a car that was not safe to operate. This is not a minor inconvenience--this is a vehicle with non-functioning airbags and seatbelt systems being sold as "safe." If a dealership is willing to let a customer leave with a car in this condition and then refuses to take responsibility, you should seriously question what their "inspection" actually means. If you value your life or that of your loved ones, stay far away from Joey and Premier Chevrolet of Carlsbad. I'll see you guys in court.
Horrible service apparently mechanics can't perform a basic smoke test for evap testing. I had to have it redone at another place with a competent mechanic who found it after an hour test whereas here their mechanic I don't even know if he actually did the smoke test kept guessing the wrong part instead of making sure. Adriana told me that if I didn't want to pay for diagnostic I should just google the parts needed and call it a day

A Brazen Rip-Off and Total Scam - AVOID Premier Chevrolet Service! This is not service; it's a scam. I brought my 2017 Chevy Colorado in for a check engine light that I had already diagnosed as a simple camshaft sensor issue. A DIY video shows the repair takes 15-30 minutes, and the part costs around $50 on Amazon. Premier Chevrolet's Service Advisor quoted me $1,329 for the repair, claiming it required 6 hours of labor at $225/hr. I didn't realize they were the very same part until I read the receipt at pickup. Included in the charge was the diagnostic time - which clearly was communicated to me it would be waived if I used their Service. It was not. The most infuriating part? They called with the diagnosis at 1 PM and called back at 4 PM to say the truck was ready. That’s just over 3 hours from start to finish. They charged me for six hours of labor for a job that was clearly not a six-hour job—and they knew it. This is a dishonest, fraudulent business practice designed to take advantage of customers. The overcharge is inexcusable. Do not trust this service department. Take your business anywhere but here.

What a waste of time! When talking to the individual at check-in who never introduced himself ( remains nameless ) When reviewing my list of concerns he then informs me that it’s a TWO day wait before my car will even reach a technician for diagnostics. I asked why would you have an appointment only to have a lead time of two days to see a tech? He responded with that’s just how we get you in the queue. Who is able to be without transportation for a minimum of TWO days?! This location clearly can’t handle the volume of vehicles coming through. I also had an issue with my factory tires and was sent here by Michelin to have them inspected. They wanted to charge me their hourly rate to inspect them. Yeah right! They don’t realize that if the issue was in fact confirmed by the tech Michelin would in fact be paying them to replace them. I won’t be returning to Premier Chevrolet for any future service needs.
