Introducing the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport/Grand Sport X

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is making a comeback along with the Grand Sport X. Both models feature a next-generation V8 engine that provides more torque than any previous model. Bold design and even bolder performance will win over a new generation of sports car fans.
The Reintroduction of an Icon
The original Chevy Grand Sport was built back in the 1960s as a racetrack car. One look at this model and you could tell it would be fast, while your opinion was verified as you watched it run around the track. The model you see today has been developed using many of the design elements from the eighth generation Corvette. The wide stance showcases exhilarating performance while the cockpit provides intentional focus on the person behind the wheel.
The new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport gives you the option of a coupe with a removable roof or hard-top convertible. Magnetic ride control is a standard feature for smooth handling. Performance Traction Management is also available to help you track how well this model performs.
Power for the Grand Sport
Power for the 2027 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport comes from an LS6 6.7-liter V8 engine, the same engine that provides power for the Corvette Stingray. In the Grand Sport and Grand Sport X, this engine delivers 535 horsepower with 520 lb.-foot of torque. It also has a larger displacement to move extra air and increase power without overheating the engine.
Chevrolet revised the exhaust manifolds and created a new lubrication system to make the engine more durable in high temperatures. For smooth handling and precise control, the engine is mated with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission.
You have the option of the Z52 Sport Performance Package, which includes high-performance iron brakes for better stopping power. This package also provides a stiffer suspension for better handling and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. If you choose the Z52 Track Performance Package, you get Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires and carbon ceramic J57 brakes with chassis tuning.
What About the Grand Sport X?
The Chevy Corvette Grand Sport X is similar to the Grand Sport with all the major features. The big difference is this model has all-wheel drive. You’ll also enjoy more exciting performance with an impressive 721 horsepower and a front axle electric motor for an outstanding eAWD Corvette. Take turns with confidence, enjoying the nimbleness of a rear-wheel-drive sports car while intelligent controls enhance stability. You have three options for power, beginning with Endurance for extended lapping and more consistent output. Choose Qualifying for maximum power while Push-to-Pass increases power on demand. The Grand Sport X model features standard carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires. Stealth mode allows you to drive quietly while Shuttle mode is ideal for off-street driving up to 23 MPH.
Design Elements
The Grand Sport Corvette model includes a Launch Edition with a Santorini Blue-dipped cabin, which features contrasting red stitching and red accents on the leather wrapped hood over the Driver Information Center. Hash marks are on the rear of the vehicle compared to the front fenders of the old models. Admiral Blue Metallic has been revived with a white center stripe and a red hash.
