Chevrolet Wins Four JD Power Dependability Awards for 2016

With more 2016 J.D. Power Dependability Awards than any other brand, Chevrolet is definitely doing something right. The J.D. Power study measures 2013 model-year vehicles dependability within its third ownership year. Chevy models that recently received this award are the Malibu for most dependable midsize car, Equinox for most dependable compact SUV, Silverado HD for most dependable large heavy duty truck and Camaro for most dependable midsize sporty car. The Malibu, Silverado HD and Camaro have also received this award in previous years.

Meet the Winners:

This year marks the first J.D. Power Dependability award for the Chevy Equinox. However, this model was recognized by the automotive authority last year as one of J.D. Power’s Highest Ranked Compact SUVs in Initial Quality. This year, the new Chevrolet Equinox has expanded its array of standard features to now include a rear vision camera, 7-inch diagonal color touch-screen, more leg room and premium cloth seats.

As winner of J.D. Power’s most dependable midsize sporty car four years in a row, the Camaro stands out from the crowd. This model has also received the 2016 Motortrend Car of the Year, The Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value award and was included in Car and Driver’s 2016 top 10 best vehicles list. The new Chevy Camaro is offered with a choice of powertrain options and is packed with new connective technologies.
