2017 CHEVY CAMARO PERFORMANCE PACKAGES

New 2017 Chevrolet Camaro Performance Packages

New 2017 Chevrolet Camaro models, currently in production, will be available with performance packages that rival racing models. Both V6 and V8 Chevy Camaro models will be available with a 1LE Performance Package built upon a lightweight, stiff structure body that offers higher level of suspension, stiffness and damping. These models will be equipped with more aggressive tires, more powerful brakes and better cooling systems. These new Camaros will offer more power, increased handling and top-notch performance.

2017 Chevy Camaro LT coupes will be available with the 1LE Performance Package for the first time. This model is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission that delivers 355 horsepower. With the 1LE Performance Package, the coupe receives more aggressive FE3 suspension components, Brembo four-piston brakes and 20-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

Also available with the new Performance Package will be the 2017 Camaro SS. This model is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a six-speed manual transmission that delivers 455 horsepower. When equipped with the new Performance Package the Camaro SS offers FE4 suspension tuning, the new and exclusive electronic limited slip differential, Brembo brakes with six-piston Monobloc front red calipers, Recaro front seats and forged aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires.

Design features on both the Camaro LT Coupe and the SS performance models will include a satin black hood and an available Performance Data Recorder system. The front grille on the LT Coupe model will have satin black accents and unique front and rear spoilers. The SS model will feature satin black front mirrors and a three-piece rear spoiler as well as a satin graphite front splitter and rear diffuser.

The 1LE Performance Packages will be available to the 2017 Camaro models by late 2016. Pricing and more details will be announced closer to its official launch date.
