2016 Chevrolet SS Sedan in Production & Coming Soon

The 2016 Chevy SS Sedan will be arriving in San Diego, CA soon.

Chevrolet is currently in production of the new 2016 Chevrolet SS. This rear-drive sports sedan is one of the shining stars of Chevy’s performance line. It offers all of the comfort of an elegant sedan combined with all the thrills of a sports car.

The exterior styling of the new Chevy SS continues the tradition of commanding road presence seen in past models. It has received a few enhancements including new LED signature lighting and 19-inch cast aluminum wheels. The 2016 model has also received a revised front fascia with vertical ducts that direct air over the front wheels to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

All of the convenient features of previous Chevy SS models and a few new ones, can be found on the new 2016 model. An integrated control console that allows quick access and displays Chevrolet MyLink infotainment, climate control and other features on a wide screen, is centered perfectly in the dash. The new model will also have available OnStar 4G LTE mobile Wi-Fi connection for up to seven mobile devices at once.

The new SS maintains all the performance of past generations. It is still powered by a 6.2L V-8 engine that delivers a remarkable 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Like the 2015 model, the new SS will also be offered with either a six-speed manual transmission or a paddle-shift six-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 model will have a new dual-mode exhaust system for quieter performance at low speeds.
