A smart diesel exhaust braking system on the Colorado helps with towing by reducing the need for braking on downgrades, both enhancing vehicle control and slowing brake wear. An integrated trailer brake controller works with the Colorado’s antilock brake system and eliminates the need for a costly aftermarket trailer brake controller.
